Children musical in two acts.
Story about Iti and Kusti lost in the forest who run into the Woods Crone house. They are forced to do hard work there and take care of the small Imp. It is familiar to many Estonian children generations.
"Nukitsamees" (The Imp) by Oskar Luts belongs to the Estonian children's literature classics and was made into a film in 1981. Olav Ehala wrote the music for the film and in 1999 the namesake children's musical reached the stage of the Estonian National Opera. The songs of "Nukitsamees" (The Imp) are well known and loved – "Päikeseratas", "Valulaul" and "Kodulaul" have been in the programme of the song festivals. The fairy tale that talks about love, the power of goodness and care reaches the Vanemuine stages for the joy of all the small and the big.
